Taken while on assignment for the NEW YORK TIMES' Week In Review section, covering the Pennsylvania Presidential Primary campaign.  Presidential candidate and Democratic Senator Henry Jackson was photographed by Steve Landis.  Landis used a short lens to capture the Senator along with a notable icon of American freedom, Independence Hall.
