This double page spread was part of a series of black and white portraits of real investment bankers, shot in New York for German bank Dresdner. I wanted to capture a feeling of spontaneity that was more reportage in nature than straight portraiture.  Yet I still wanted everything crisp, and decided to utilize a sharp studio camera and try and get the bankers to be themselves but in action not static.  Riccardo was great, very expressive. We just started talking about what else, finance, and we were off to the races.

About the photographer . .
Steve Landis has travelled through many parts of the world during a career in professional photography incorporating the areas of photojournalism, fashion, beauty, and celebrity portrait photography for major publications for over 25 years.  Steve now primarily photographs weddings, family, actor, and executive portraits.
