About the photographer . . .
Steve Landis has photographed celebrity portraits in black and white and in color on location and in the studios of New York, Paris, London and Los Angeles.  Steve Landis has been known for portraits that convey emotion, beauty and inner strength. Pernille Holmboe, from ID models hails from Denmark. Pernille was photographed by Steve Landis on January 27, 1999 for the Spring 1999 issue of TSL - The Sporting Life. "I decided to shoot outdoors to get a more natural feeling than you would with a studio shot. Its very subtle but that's what makes it work. Travis Marszalek, did a beautiful job with Pernille's hair and make- up." Steve shot with a Mamiya RZ67 camera with a 180mm lens on Kodak Tri-x Pan Professional 120 film, hand processed by Gar Lillard at Lab One in New York.
